I’m utterly sick of this and cannot remain silent any longer. I expect the subject will be studiously ignored. Our sermons at church are just warmed up divinity textbook pablum from our inexperienced young pastor. I haven’t been back since September 2021. But we go over the sermons in the group. It’s dead boring and vapid UNTIL we read out the entire scripture chapter used. The actual word of God then sings and convicts and declares love and warns and gives joy and peace. Repeats “do not be afraid”. He is with us.
