I found a group called Ohio Freedom Fighters that meet every week as well as a church where all who attend are kindred spirits. Also found a counselor who holds counseling sessions with 9 other women besides myself who also question (at times) if they are going crazy. Once I regain my sanity, I’ll find some pleasure again. I have lost so many family members and friends. I still can find joy in the blessings I have been given. Happiness - not so much.

One big blessing has been gathering with likeminded friends and their kids a couple times a month for playing and hanging out as part of our homeschool week. Breaths of fresh air and normalcy. A gift from the Lord. We even had a small Christmas concert!

Finding a Traditional Latin Mass Church and going every Sunday. I love the peace and beauty of it. Also, running every day. When I run, the whole world slips away. Exercise is a wonderful thing to do with so many benefits.

My "secret mind garden" this late in life has become rediscovering the true purpose in this life and the one just around the corner to come according to God's Word the Bible.

Learning not only gratitude for each of my family, & for the few living friends I still have who are all "gems" to me and gratitude for the greatest unseen treasure of all - my being redeemed by my very loving & forgiving Creator: Christ Jesus , who again according to His Word is about to return, as the King of Kings, HalleluYah (!)

Bicycle riding, especially the every other Saturday date ride with my wife. Always something new around the corner. And finding places not beholden to all the mandates in Ohio.

I spent the most time I could in nature, hiking and painting plein air. I made 2 new friends—one for walking snd one for painting. I turned everything off. Painting and hiking nature saved my sanity. The parks and conservation areas stayed open here thank God.

visiting friends, & usually disappearing into the garden works wonders and sometimes watching reruns of happy-ending programs like Ghost Whisperer & Castle & I Love Lucy 💕

Convinced one of the unintended consequences for these tyrannical kleptocrats is the initiation of creativity inspired by their death wielding forces. Impressed by the amount of creativity unleashed by we the people as we respond by becoming more grounded. Spending time with family, being outdoors, pursuing physical fitness, gardening, even writing on SS! Around our house we built recording studios, worked on songs, learned new instruments and engaged in spontaneous jams which rocked the rooftops. You can fool some of the people some of the time but fooling all the people all of the time? NO.

Too many hobbies for me. I paint and make crafts. I do woodworking and refinish furniture. I garden, both food and flowers, so I did some canning this summer.

I usually walk, but when it got really hot, I decided to exercise inside. I started out just doing workouts, but that was boring even with music, so I kept trying until I found a video that teaches real dance steps! So now, I’m learning dances I’ve always wanted to do. I used to love, “Dancing With the Stars”, but I haven’t watched it in years. The Danes I’m learning can be danced solo. So, I know a few steps for theses dances: Cha Cha, salsa, samba, and jive. It’s lots of exercise once you learn the steps.
