Please encourage others to take this poll in and out of substack. Just ten minutes in and the results of this poll are already very revealing. I have not received a single penny for any of my posts nor will I ever. This is purely for the purpose of setting things right.

If you really wanted people to take the poll, you would not make it only for subscribers.

I did some research, and this is by substack design to only allow one vote per person. Sorry it is not a setting I can change. https://support.substack.com/hc/en-us/articles/7584884241684-How-do-I-add-a-poll-to-a-Substack-post-

No one want's to think about dying but unfortunately 100% of us who ever live will eventually come to pass too.

So it's a pertinent question to think about really. How you want to go as much as how you want to live.

All this hostility and confusion. Agree with you. It's not healthy and only divides us further creating more conflict and suspicion.

We do. As Berdyaev said only Christianity can save the world from Christianity. Instead of the fake, the actual. Short of this aspiration to participate as collaborator with Divinity in Civlizations rise and fall holding no meaning for generations coming later. The occupants of what is called the "Present" have no sacred tradition that is uncorrupt. This is a cause to pursue the present as the only actuality. The past buried and forgotten.

I'm unclear on what is being asked. Which would be the most painful personally? Which is most upsetting to have in a family member? Which is the most disturbing to see in society?

So, what IS the root of this problem, and how can it be addressed?

Feel free to "like" this very comment here, to vote for your answer instead of the others so it can at least be quantified to some extent.

Oh wow, that is not even something I thought of, but then I was limited to five answers. I suppose "isolation" would come closest, but you are right it is truly an separate answer on its own.

But why did the person lose the desire to live? Was it due to malice? Isolation? Unknown reasons? Disease? Poor nutrition?

What was the reason behind them choosing this? I think this is what the poll is asking.
