Yes, some flicker of light is still left. Take a look at the list of 44 co-sponsors for the proposed No Vaccine Mandate act (2021-2022) sponsored by Rep. John Moolenaar [R-MI-4]:

Granted it only mentions vaccines for Covid-19 and may be completely overshadowed by the bulky ten billion+ dollar proposed Cures 2.0 Act - https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/6000/text ; however, it does shine some light on what several lawmakers are willing to stand behind — medical freedom.
The passing of this Act would be in the proper direction of:
Ensuring that taxpayer money will not be collected and spent on mandating these rushed, experimental drugs which have lacked informed consent and have been broadly applied by treating the different developmental phases of human life as if they are identical.
Protecting our Constitutional rights, including medical freedom, under the First Amendment of the Constitution of United States of America 1789 (rev. 1992)
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
Reiterating that the Nuremberg Code has not been forgotten, and we should learn from history and not repeat it. https://www.ushmm.org/information/exhibitions/online-exhibitions/special-focus/doctors-trial/nuremberg-code
Supporting doctors in freely upholding the Hippocratic Oath in their practices and when treating their patients the best to their ability, and to “respect the hard-won scientific gains of those physicians in whose steps I walk, and gladly share such knowledge as is mine with those who are to follow.” https://www.medicinenet.com/hippocratic_oath/definition.htm
Since this Act indicates that there are some thoughtful lawmakers recognizing medical freedom, I have decided to add who is a sponsor or co-sponsor of this bill as a factor to the “Right the Wrongs” Index which primarily looks at how current members of Congress voted on H.R.34 - 21st Century Cures Act 114th Congress (2015-2016) during the Obama Administration.
Please join me in assessing how Congress has voted to enable legislation that is crippling our everyday lives, and reach out to them to help right the wrongs.
